Covenant
We are a coalition of churches and individuals within Albany Presbytery joined together in covenant represented by the rainbow, the sign of God’s promise to care for all creation (Gen 9:9-17) and a reminder that the diversity of human creatures is to be cherished. In entering into this covenant, we seek through God’s aid to:

Live the message of the Gospel as a message for all persons.

Extend a hand of healing and of welcome to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons who have been and are presently excluded from full participation in the life of the Presbyterian Church (USA) as the result of unjust policies.

Exert firm but loving pressure on the Presbyterian Church (USA) to remove unjust policies of exclusion.

Remain open amidst disagreement to the possibility of hearing God’s word of correction for us, and always to treat those with whom we disagree in a spirit of Christian love.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to help bring about the full inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons in the life of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the full employment of the gifts such persons bring to the service of Jesus Christ.
We welcome the fellowship of all organizations working toward this cause within the Presbyterian Church and in other denominations. May God bless our labors!
